Kujenga Makanisa Mapya

Our experience with building churches in Suguti District of Mara Conference, led by Pastor Ezekiel Zenge, is that quality churches attract people to Jesus and it is necessary that a church building should be erected every where a church company has been established. This is a basic need. Statistics are not available on this need but by counting existing companies, we can all agree that the need is enormous. The building ought to be good looking, and not just any building. The chairs should reflect the beauty of the building. Where two or three congregate, God is there also says the LORD. Where should we invite our LORD?

What Bible Says?

… And let them make me a sanctuary that I may dwell among them. According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it (Exodus 25:8, 9).

And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses. And they came, everyone whose heart stirred him up, and everyone whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holly garments (Exodus 35:20, 21).

And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make. And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed through out the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing (Exodus 36:5, 6).

Many of the SDA churches in rural Tanzania are in a dilapidated state and many people do not worship with peace in these churches and go there because the choice may not exist. Some buildings take decades to complete. BEZALEEL would like to contribute in changing this scenario by encouraging congregations and sponsorship wherever possible. We need to remember what the LORD did to the people of Israel who cared more about their houses and neglected the house of the LORD:

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; consider your ways. Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD of hosts (Haggai 1: 7-10).

Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it, Why? Saith the LORD of hosts, Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house, Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit (Hagai 1:9, 10).

The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts (Haggai 2:8, 9).

This constitutes the second important part of our the BEZALEEL Ministry. We are of the opinion that if all of us set for ourselves a five year plan to rid ourselves of buildings made of mud bricks, pole and thatch, we can in Jesus name.

We take Bezaleel Ministry to be a part of the Christian Mission as spelt out in Mathew 28:19, 20 and as underscored in Revelation 10:11 for the remnant church.

It states: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen”.  “ And He said unto me , Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings”.
